For nearly 20 years, Peyton has enjoyed learning and exploring the piano. Her love of music and desire to help others came together at Texas Woman's University, where she earned her bachelor's degree in Music Therapy and became a board-certified music therapist.
Her clinical experience includes work with geriatrics, adults and children with intellectual disabilities, juvenile detention, and pediatric hospital settings.
Peyton began teaching piano lessons in 2017. Her favorite part of teaching is watching students develop a love for music and grow in confidence. Her training in Music Therapy provides a unique approach for students who may benefit from a less traditional method. Adapted lessons are tailored for these individuals. She has worked with students on the autism spectrum, ADHD, and other developmental diagnoses in ways that accommodate sensory and cognitive needs.
Peyton is blessed with a wonderful husband and three beautiful children. She enjoys being outdoors, crocheting, chatting with other mamas, traveling, and, of course, making music!
